About me

Thank you for stopping by this page! In the midst of tech-y references and buzzwords, it’s nice to have a little breather and tell you who I am outside of being in front of a computer screen. It’s nice to officially meet you! For starters, I moved to Boulder, CO about three years ago, before which I lived in Seattle, WA and Boise, ID.

When moving to Boulder I didn’t have much of a community, so I turned to local classes to learn pottery. I quickly fell in love with the process and enjoyed the tangible expression of iterations. It’s much like UX in that way. I’ve been doing pottery for three years now and run a small ceramic business out of my home, Slow Studio Ceramics.

In line with creating beautiful, functional pottery pieces I have always loved designing physical spaces that encourage understanding, intentionality, and beautiful aesthetics. I love finding and gathering design inspiration from all over, and have been lucky enough to travel all over to experience beauty. One day I would love to be able to design a physical space, but for now Product Design gives me a chance to create these spaces digitally.

For my day to day, I love making nourishing food and trying new recipes. It’s a way to show care for the people in my life and to create memories that you’ll be able to access each time you experience that meal again. It’s a simple but powerful thing.

Again, thank you for stopping by here and exploring my portfolio, I’m so glad I can share my journey with you.
